Just did big suspension overhaul... now what?

Hey all...

Did GR2's front and rear.... some old corroded Carquest Struts/shocks
came out!
did Springs in the rear (moog)

Did front and rear 88 iroc Z sways, with new moog endlinks and bushings.
Car handles alot better now...

I have a wonderbar That just got shipped (brand new)

Still needs to go on the car...

when I was under there, the tire rod ends / bushings looked
caked .. dont know if they are bad or not.

I was considering Subframe connectors...

What is the difference, good and bad, my car will experiance after this?
Ive read many different contrasting opinions.

Do I need to spend a ton on a set?
Could I get away wtih the 99$ bolt in set and do a little weld job also?
I saw a set that had two small pieces as well to connect to the
trans mount for a 'triangle' effect...

What about Strut Tower Brace.... is it just for looks,
or is it going to do anything with all the rest of this stuff hooked up?

Any other sugestions?

replace the rubber joint between the steering gearbox and steering shaft. will have to drill out some rivets and enlarge the bolt holes slightly but its worth it.

Skip the STB and look into strut mounts. those wear out and are worth replacing.

IF you push your car at all in handling, my 2 cents is for a STB as soon as possible. Sub frame connectors are very nice too (especially as our cars have some years on them). I found both additions to be eye opening improvements.

Id Like a STB, but I have the V6, and I think that means I cant
have one unless I make it my self.

I am putting the wonderbar in on sunday.
