messed up

Should have checked the tie rods with the wheels on the vehicle, now that everything's off, any way to inspect the tie rods, idler arm and centerlink ? Actually those parts are still on the vehicle, but control arms and spindles are off. Parts are not THAT cheap, it all adds up.

When lowering the car a tiny bit by cutting the springs, do I flatten the top of the front springs after cutting it ? Just cutting half a coil off, should be enough.

Rear springs, bit complicated, should I go ahead and install rubber hose (instead of the stock insulator/spacer) and cut just a tiny tiny bit, using WS6 rear springs I have laying around. Or should I keep the spacer on and cut the stock RS springs (I believe they are the F41 package) a bit more ? I read spring rate jumps up a lot faster on the rear when cutting them compared to the front.

This is the situation, C6 wheels will be going on, 18x8.5 front and 19x10 back, still not sure what tires to use. I'm thinking bit taller than stock C6, because I have a set of 275/40/18 Nitto's laying around I can use on the front until I go to 255/40/18. So in order to not mismatch the sidewall height front and back I'll have to go with 295/35/19 out back.

Also trying to figure out which front control arm bushings to get, do MOOG use a thermoplastic compound in their bushings nowadays ? Del-a-lum look awesome but way expensive.
