Jegster Torque Arm

I recently purchased a used Jegster non-adjustable torque arm for my 84' z-28. I didn't receive any paperwork with it. I'm not sure if the front part of the arm is supposed to be bolted into the rear section where it slides in at. There is a bolt through the rear section of torque arm but no hole through front part that slides in..this is what is throwing me off. Not sure how far it should be slid in and if it should be bolted. Any help would be very helpful. Thanks
