Tire Question ?
Tire Question ?
Would a 265/50/15 tire on a 15x10 rim (w5.5bs) be to small to run on the rear of a 92 rs at stock height or would it be to small of a tire and look funny ? Does anyone have any pictures ? Thanks for any help you can give me .
Re: Tire Question ?
idunno about the back spacing but a 50series tire will look kinda dumb i wouldnt do it not to mention your speedometer will be off

Re: Tire Question ?
it's only like a 2% difference over the 26. inch tire so the speedo would be read 102 mph at 100 mph, , although you will have 1/4 more fender gap, most people prob. wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two unless they were side by side, although personally i think my factory 245/50 r16, 25.7 inch. looks to small in the wheel well, and thats just a tad taller than the 265/50 15, 25.4

Re: Tire Question ?
the 15 inch tire is about .2" smaller than the stock so i dont think gap will be an issue.
The backspacing should be fine, and i dont see why the tire wont fit and look fine

Re: Tire Question ?
If you're worried about the tire height, go with a 275 50 15. Same height as the original size that came on your car. Re: Tire Question ?
Thanks for all the help , the only reason i went with a 265/50/15 is that i wanted a raised white letter tire (cooper tire) I can not find one in a 275/50/15 and i thought a 295/50/15 would be pushing it . Thanks again
