Weld in sub frames squeaking?

ok guys, i bought my car in january with weld in spohn subframes installed (t-top car, 73,000 miles, 350hp at the flywheel, 400tq, t-56, all poly bushing on suspension) and the brakes went out the friggin day a bought it lol. so i put the jack under the k-member i the middle of the car, and jack away to fix my brakes. the car makes the terrible squeaking/loading up noise and the front end barely lifts, then the noise stops nad the car starts to go up, like the front had to bend up a bit before the car was ridged enought to be lifted. it does this every time i jack it up, and the sam thing on the way down. the doors are also harder to close when the front of the car is on jackstands, and the rear wheels are on the ground. the subframes are again sphon, and welded in, every 4 inches along the rockers, and toe the frame at the front, and to the trans tunnel frame rails, but only bloted to the lc atachment points. everything i read about spc say it makes the car VERY stiff, and mine seems to still have some flex in it. anyone have an idea what it could be

Re: Weld in sub frames squeaking?

Poly bushings are known to squeak. I'd bet if you greased them all up it would go away. The doors being hard to close while the front jacked up happens on most cars, I'm not sure how much the SFC's help with that, I haven't tried opening my doors with the front jacked up yet after my SFC install. Also, it seems strange that someone would go through all the trouble to weld in the SFC's every 4 inches and then not weld in the LCA section. It's probably fine the way it is, but if you have a welder you might want to finish them off and weld the LCA area.

Re: Weld in sub frames squeaking?

A synthetic based lube with PTFE like "Super Lube" is recommended for poly bushings. I use it everywhere there is a zerk fitting.

My car makes that squeaking noiose when you jack it up - along with a few loud "clangs"

I decided to watch and listen one day to see, and all it was is the swaybars are unloading and moving rotationally in the bushings! Stock rubber.
