Re: TIRE SIZE HELP!
well, it depends on what you started with, 14 inch 15 inch rims? What is the recommended ORIGINAL tire size on that vehicle? (check the sticker on your driver door for tire specs ) my 89 pont. firebird formula has 16" wheels and that takes 245/50/16. 245 is how wide, the 50 is how 'tall' the tire is (50 is in the low profile range). 50 is aspect ratio. If you can find someone with the Plus Size Tire Guide (with RED PAGES) That is the best one to look at. It will show you what you can go up to. Usually, if you have 14"s, you can go as far as Plus 2 (to 16). If you go any lower than a 50 series tire, you have less rubber between the rim and the road and will have not as nice of a ride usually. Hope that helps?

Are you planning on just one set of tires for both street and stip duty?

If you're talking 15" you can run a 15 x 8 with 275 50's
You can also run a 15 x 10" with 295 50.
