Are the thin metal spacers used in the rear on these cars for use only on cars with drum brakes only or do they need to be used no matter what type of brakes car has in rear. They are 87 IROC rims off my car and there were no spacers when I removed them. I plan to put them on 92 Camaro RS that is currently using the 15X7 dogs. The 92 Camaro has drum brakes in rear so I imagine I need the spacers to install the IROC rims in the rear but are there any other problems swapping these rims on to the 92 Camaro that I should plan on having occur too Thanks

 

The .187 thick spacers were used on drum brake to maintain the drum thickness in the transtion from the aluminum to iron drums with the IROC wheels. I got rid of mine when I changed over to rear disc brakes. I would just forget about using them the same way GM did.
