Energy suspension lower A-arm bushing sleeves too big.
It appears the lower A-arm kit that ES markets for 78-87 A/G bodies is wrong. I was wondering if F-body guys have this same problem since our lower A-arms are the same. correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe G-bodies, F-Bodies, and s10 all have the same front lower a-arms with the exception of the S10 using 1/2" mounting bolts as opposed to our 12mm.
there are two of each bushing (long and short)
the long red urethane bushing is stamped 3217
the short one is stamped 3008A
78 was the only year A/G body to still use a 1/2" bolt. From 79 up, they all used a 12mm bolt.
the problem is, Energy suspension uses 1/2" and 11/16" ID sleeves for ALL 78-88 A/G bodies, therefore they are too big, and allow too much wiggle room for the 79-88 model G-bodies.
so, do you guys have a loose fit as well, or should I oder the 3rd gen F-body parts?
I assume 82-92 F-bods use 12mm mounting bolts?

i used to have the ES bushing on my a-arms, they fit fine. As for bolts, the 12mm was loose, so i drilled out the k-member holes and used 1/2". No problems at all.
the a-arms are slightly different in design/geometry between cars.
