Well, First was the battery falling through the tray. Now its the radiator falling through the support. So as I stood at chevys parts counter for an hour trying to find this support, no luck.
To me on my car, looks as if there is a flat peice of metal directly beneath the radiator, then to "L" brackets hold that metal to the rest of the front end.
GM says that whole front end is a solid peice. (the metal sheet that has hole cut out for radiator)
So basically its down to, do i knock out the rusted support, and weld in a peice? do i unbolt an entire front end off a junkyard marrow? or does someone here have insight on where to get a new one?
Keep in mind, even if it costs 100 bucks over a peice od welded metal. I AM the guy who would pay the extra 100 for it to say GM on it lol
I dont know why, i just like keeping my cars factory.
thanks

The front-end doesn't unbolt from anything. Any solution will involve cutting and welding.

the lower rad support doesn't bolt in place? I could have sworn it did.... You can bring a hacksaw to a junkyard (if they'll let you...) and cut one off a car, then weld it in, in an inconspicious place. That'll look cleaner then a customer made sheet metal part.

I would try to find a donor car if possible cause u probably got metal issues somewhere else also, then just cut off all u need and reweld. Later.
