Did all rear swaybars use endlinks?

About 15 or 20 years ago my dad built a thirdgen camaro into a circle track car, and the rear sway bar on that car didn't use endlinks, it bolted to the LCA's, like a fox mustang. when he got the car that was how it was, but it had been mostly stripped. I'm wondering if it's possible that this is way this car was originally, if any thirdgens came this way from GM?

No thirdgens came like that from the factory. However the G-bodies(monte carlo) had a sway bar that mounted like that. The G body and F body rear control arms are interchangable but I dont know about the sawy bars.
