Re: Spohn or Umi torque arm kit?

which one? the factory mount one that still attaches to the trans? or the crossmember mounted one?

for the factory style i would recommend Spohn, while i do like UMI a lot better, Spohns is a lot stronger where it attaches to the trans mount, UMI's seems a little weak there.

for the crossmember mount one, UMI, hands down. theirs is built much nicer, though it is probably a little heavier. But they dont offer as many different applications as Spohn, so depending on what trans you are running, they might not offer the torque arm.

And if you act real fast, UMI has a thanksgiving sale going right now, i think it ends today, for 20% off.

Re: Spohn or Umi torque arm kit?

i will be going with the crossmember mount for a t5. i dont like the idea of mounting it to the tailshaft.

i did notice the sale going on, Umi is offering free shipping and 20% off.

there torque arm kit also comes with a driveshaft safety loop.
