Too much freeplay in steering?
Wondering if there was a way to tighten up the steering a bit. I have to move the wheel 2-3 inches either direction to move the car. The power steering fluid is full, and the steering wheel is mounted properly.

Could be ball joints, tie rod ends, slop in the steering box, etc. I'd get under there and see what needs to be replaced. Almost all these cars have sloppy steering and need some work.

I have the same problem. I replaced my front struts, ball joints, wheel seals, and idler arm. I don't know where the steering box is or what I'd need to do to fix it. I have a '92 formula.

A common problem with third gens is, the center drag link. It is the component that transmits the left-right movement between the front wheels.
