What spring do I have?

>I scored some stock rear springs with the tag TTF...what's the rate for these? And what were they on? I did searches, but I only found rates for Moog springs and not the RPO coded springs...Thanks guys....

Re: What spring do I have?

all rear springs are the same. i think the V6 might have gotten lighter springs. they are all the same moog 5665 part number. with a 107lbin spring rate. unless the spring u bought is a progessive spring then its that other spring called the cargo coil springs... its a progressive spring so in apperance the coils would be wound tighter at the bottom and get farther apart as the coils continue... if they do then its the cargo coil spring which was used to 3rd gens that would carry heavier weight in the rear

im sure even the V6 has the same rear spring as the V8 bc they are essentially the same rear end weight.

Re: What spring do I have?

Wow...so only 107 lb.? That's light for a perf car isn't it? Have guys put larger coils in the back...and with what results? Would doubling it be too much? Should be a looser car.

The Moog 5665 is supposed to be an IROC replacement; however, that replacement will jack the rear up substantially.
