how to determine sway bar size??

Axle/Gears: 3.08 Posi 10 Bolt w/ aluminum drums
how to determine sway bar size??

are the sizes the diameter or circumference??
whats the easiest way to determine what size I have so I can order the correct poly bushings??
I have an '88 IROC..

My guess is that you have a 34/24 combo. Take an adjustable wrench and apply it around the bushings, measuring the jaws after each application. Should give you a pretty good idea.

Interesting. I've never heard of a 23 (though that means nothing). My 85 IROC was a 34/24 combo.

My 87 has a 34 & 23, the GTA has a 36 & 24. My buddies 88 has 34/23 too.

Are you sure you mean the bushings, or rather the bar itself?

EDIT: Ahhh, I think I get it now. When you said "around the bushings" you just meant on either side of them...

there is a 23mm bar, although it's not as common as the 24mm or 21mm,

I "assume" the IROC package contains the same components at least through 88. If so, I wonder why an 87 IROC would have a 34/23 combo while an 85 would have a 34/24?

As general info: Some camaros weren't equipped with larger bars until 89, IIRC, while some Birds got them as early as 86.

BTW, I meant a 23 on an IROC.
