Which STB for GTA hood?

Can anyone recommend a strut tower brace that will clear a GTA hood, and work with aftermarket strut mounts? If I can't find one, I may have to get something fabbed.

I know the hotchkis STB works on the GTA but I need to ask my buddy what strut mounts he had, I'm not sure, sorry. I'll get back to you in a while.

Re: Which STB for GTA hood?

I had an Edelbrock 3-pt & the hood sat about 1/8" high in the rear. Not much, but noticeable, and that was with no underhood liner.

I test fitted the UMI 2-pt one for UMI & had to cut some underhood bracing to get the hood to close, which I expected.

I hear the BMR clears, because of its flat plate over the plenum, allowing the cross-bar to sit lower overall.

Other than that? That's all I know.

Ditto on the compliments for the BMR piece. I've had a 3-point brace on my GTA for several years now. I recommend it over the others I've seen. Its a high quality piece. The flattened portion not only fits perfectly over the plenum, it actually appears to frame it perfectly. It fits unders the hood without any issues. As an added benefit, the two arms of it can be removed individually to assist with any maintenance issues (such as R/R of dizzy cap).
