I put in a set of Eibach springs a few years ago, and today I discovered that the front driver side spring is broken.
How the hell does this happen in daily driving?
Am I crazy to expect that a spring should never break in a passenger car, unless it is defective?

With enough time, rust and fatigue a spring will break...but not in a few years. What's the condition of the spring? Rusty? I would contact Eibach about this.
No, not rusted. They are Prokits installed 5 years ago, and I do normal daily driving.
I'm pissed!
I'll contact Eibach and see what they say. I'm not optimistic.

it does happen. i didnt kno till i pulled mine out but i snapped a full coil off my stock WS6 front spring. of course it was kinda my mistake, i hopped a curb by mistake due to too tight a turn and just alittle to fast on BRAND NEW PAVEMENT! who knew new pavement has and oil film on the top of it! too much force at one time will do it easily... was it at the top or bottom(Aarm) side?
they prob wont replace it
