I am getting ready to upgrade my power steering and my question is in relation to the pump. I have a 600 series box which is much smaller and lighter than the 800 series box...it also has much better internals as well. In addition I will use a March power steering pulley along with a new flaming River shaft.

Does the GM Type II pump that is used on the LT1's work on our application? What I mean is will that pump and reservoir fit onto our bracket assembly in the stock location?

That is the last piece I want to upgrade before putting it all together.
