steering linkage components from different manufacturers?

Hi,

I am in need of rebuilding my steering linkage in order to get a proper alignment without it being a waste of money. However, I am on a budget and would like to make this as inexpensive as possible without sacrificing too much quality.
I have been looking at the spohn steering rebuild kit that goes for $299, but it is a little bit outside of my budget. Would it be a bad idea if I ordered the spohn inner and outer tie rod ends, along with the adjuster sleeves, and purchased the idler arm and drag link from a different manufacturer that is less expensive? The idler arm and drag link are American made replacement part that are a decent quality but not as good as sophn. This option will save me about $60 and I would like to know if there are any considerations about mixing parts from different manufacturers.

Thanks in advance for all constructive input.
