Polygraphite, Polyurethane, Delrin, aluminum, which bushings?

I can see how polygraphite has an advantage over Polyurethane.

But is the advantage worth the price?

And what about aluminum bushings, or delrin-coated aluminum?

I want a GOOD suspension on the 79, but I don't wanna go to either extreme, I wanna lean towards the race end of the spectrum..

What kind of bushings do you reccomend for the 79?

As far as I know polygraphite is just graphite inpreginated polyurethane. As for the "del-alum" bushings I would think these are for racing. Delrin flexes even less than poly. So I would think they would transfer a lot of noise to the cabin. But I dont know for sure.

Polygraphite is a pre-lubed version of the polyurethane bushing. It has dry graphite impregnated in it. It doesn't cost any more to my knowledge.

If you want to get the best parts and the best price check out Performance Suspension Components in Arizona.

The other style bushings are a lot more expensive, and will eventually wear out as well. Poly is a good compromise.

Get the polygraphite bushings if you want a good ride. The Delrins wont last as long, cost more, transfer more vibs, but unlike the poly, are bind free.

Global West offers a warranty on their Del-A-Lum bushings. They say the average lifspan is 120,000 miles. This is the set-up that I would have gone with if it was legal in the class that I autocross in, instead I went with the Energy Suspension bushings and like them so far.
