FE2 Suspension?

Is the FE2 suspension something standard on an 88Iroc or is it a special option or rare?

FE2 is the RPO for "ride handling" suspension option, there is also the F41 heavy duty option. One of these codes should be in your glovebox.I just recently talked to a dealership about replacement springs for my '87 formula that has the WS6 suspension. The way he described it was FE2 and F41 related to what springs came on the car.My front spring codes are BZW which i was told were the highest spring rate for fronts. My rear spring codes were NNL which were medium rate spings that came on an FE2 equiped car.F41 equiped cars came with NNB or NNM springs out back which were the stiffest available rears. I am no suspension expert but this is how the gm parts guy explained it to me.Hope this helps.
