The rear shocks on my '89 WS6 T/A finally gave out and I need some new ones. I'm not racing and I'm not hauling a boat. Any recommendations on replacements? I went to Pep Boys and they had 2 different ones, both by Gabriel -- the standard and the "Premium" -- I think that's what they called it. Are those good enough? Thanks.

Let me clarify a little. I'd like the replacement shocks to be at least equal to the originals when they were fresh from the factory -- in ride quality and handing.

I originally put KYB shocks in my 89 WS6(SH**)I just put Koni's in because the KYB"s bottomed out all the time,to soft with our heavy springs.I also have Monroe Formula GP's in the front and they work great but will have to be changed to Koni's when I lower the car
