Check the RPO codes on the tag in the center console. If it lists "WS6" that performance package included higher performance springs, and larger diameter sway bars (36 mm hollow front). Roughly equivalent to the Iroc package, but without the steering brace. I'm sure the Firebird guys can help you out some more with this.

The performance WS6 comes with the big sway bars, 16 inch wheels, fast ratio steering, 4wheel discs, and overly high spring rates.

Were the brakes different on WS6 cars? I found one at the junkyard, and I seem to remember there being 2 different types of brakes for our cars, high-per. and not. Also, if I put '89 ws6 springs into my car, will it lower it at all, or just raise the spring rate?

Thanks,
Brandon
