To the OP: Looks good! How long did that take you and are you planning on coating them with anything to keep rust away?

I was wondering about clear powder as well, but I'm not sure the rubber centers could withstand the curing process. If it would work, how much of the shine would it take away?Originally Posted by FueledSoul

92rs_tTop no clear coat i use mothers chrome polish to protect it.
FueledSoul i used 3 easy steps. it took me 3 hour to do one
step one: use a fine wire wheel or paint stripper to remove the paint which ever one you prefer.
step two: use a high speed buffer with a 6" spiral cotton buffing wheel # 39405 and a green polishing stick comes in a round plastic tube. i bought these 2 items at harbor freight. apply the polish to the wheel while the buffing wheel is spinning. then apply medium pressure to the caster/camber plates in about 1min you'll start seeing it shine.just keep on buffing and applying compound til your happy with shine.
step three: after your done polishing wipe the plates down with a rag and apply mothers chrome polish.
any other questions send me an e-mail
