Anyone have trouble mounting their stock Z28 or IROC 16x8 inch rims with their Baer Brake Track System? Will the stock rims fit with the track system on? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Give them a call and they can either fax, mail, or email you a template to cut out and check your rims. I think the only 16" rims that it won't fit on are the GTA rims - but don't quote me on that, give them a call. Hell, it might even be on their website for download. I had them email me one to check my 17" rims just to be safe.

On my 92Z,my first Baer 13" track kit came with the "old" style rough cast heat finned PBR calipers, and they fit fine under the stock 16x8 Z28 rims. They wouldn't fit the GTA cross-laced rims.

When I upgraded to the new low pressure cast PBR calipers with the smooth surface for logos, (got the black caliper with the silver Baer logo), there was a slight difference in the height of a couple of the heat fins and clearance was too close to the inside of the rim. I lightly touched them with a grinder. Shortly after, I went to the 17x9 SS rims, and eliminated all problems.
