size of tires

I have the 97 ws6 wheels on my formula. I the back what would be better 255/50/16 or 245/50/16. In the front 225/50/16 or 245/50/16. i would like to concer better and all the fun things we do with driving.

I ran 255/50 in the back and 245/50 in the front on my stock '87 16" rims. Looked really good from all angles. And handling was not noticably any worse than with 245/50s all around.
Launching at the strip was definatly better.
I'm going to 255/55r16 in the back next to bring my gearing down.
