How big is the swaybar on a stock 92 RS, hardtop, 305 TBI? Thanks guys.

I have a 1991 RS 305 TBI and oddly enough the blue plastic part # tag (on front sway bar) was still on the car which I bought about a year ago.
The RPO is F41. The part # according to the Chevy dealer shows 34 mm. I'm going to measure mine before I order new sway bar bushings to make sure as Ive read so many different size sway bars with this RPO code.

It depends on your RPO codes.

FE1: 30mm
F41: 34mm
FE2: 36mm

More than likely, you have the F41 suspension. I think the FE1 was reserved for the V6 cars, and the FE2 for the HO Z28s and T/A's.

I'm not too sure how reliable the RPO codes are. For example, my 85 IROC has the FE2 code but only has a 32 mm front sway (which is about to be swapped to a 36 mm).

Thanks for the info. How do I measure the swaybar? Are the measurements you listed the diameter? Do I just wrap a string around the thing and figure out the diameter from that? (d = C/pi), duh, nevermind, I can probably use a micrometer. Anyway, thanks again!
