Re-doing my rear breaks this past week, my father gawked at my springs and said "Damn, those are light springs! And they're probably worn, too." I've been thinking that they were worn because of some excessive bumpiness since hte summer, but my dad's been doing hot-rodding for about 30 years... Albeit mostly on FoMoCo stuff... Anyhow, I've always trusted his opinion on stuff like that.

Now... As far as I know, these are the stock springs for the beast. It's an LG4 based standard Firebird. I have been wondering why What's the stock rating (and RPO codes) for the front and rear springs? And also what would be a good comprimise for getting a good launch off the line and also good daily driver performance. I don't mind a tiny bit of bumpiness, and I definitely don't expect this thing to ride like a brand new Caddy if I'm gonna be bringing this to Englishtown/Raceway Park this summer.

It depends what level suspension you have. The stiffest, level III (WS6) had the fronts at 548 pounds. The stock level I was 350. dont know what the backs are. WS6 would be good for performance upgrade and can be cheaply had.
