I have an '85 Z28. If I lower my car with Eibach springs, will this alter my car's geometry a great deal? Do I have to correct the geometry after lowering?

I have an Iroc and an RS. The RS sits noticably higher, maybe an inch tops. Papa could find a set of Iroc springs, pretty cheap I'd say, and put those in. But has anyone tried to cut a coil or half a coil out? Can it even be done and if so, what's the best way? (Cut off wheel, hacksaw, or oxy/ace torch?) Just a thought, but if anyone has done it I'd like to know. I'd like to lower my Iroc a little and I'll probably go with new springs. Then I'll transfer those springs over to the RS.

DON"T cut your springs. That's the ******* way to do things. I know I'm surrounded by them, they won't leave me alone.
