hi, I just bought a 89 v6 automatic firebird. I've made a few posts on the messageboards and I feel I need to upgrade or replace my current suspension. What upgrade/repairs do ya'll seem nessicary, this post has probably been made millions of times but any replies would be well aprecciated. Thanks alot

 

depends on what you want to do with the car. for street use or a daily driver i'd replace the worn parts and get it aligned. i doubt if you're drag racing or auto crossing with your car. if you want better handleing up grade the springs, shocks and struts, plus bigger sway bars and a wonder bar.

I'd start with struts and shocks (KYB are cheap and good) ... then maybe replace the bushings (Energy Spension, swaybar bushings are easy) ... then (as MANY people recommend) install sub-frame connectors (SFC) ... after that you can think about the other fancy/expensive stuff.
