converting to 1LE brakes???

converting to 1LE brakes???

I have a 91 GTA that has rear drum brakes on it and I an converting to rear disc by swapping the rear end for a differant one. And I am putting on the 1LE setup in the front. Am I going to have to change the master cylinder and pro. valves. IF so can someone help me with the part number. Thanks

You will need GM part# 10136840 proportioning valve. You will use your existing master cylinder.

'69 chevelle SS396 w/Turbo 400,3.31 posi,11.0 to 1, headers,etc. Latest project car,'86 IROC stock 305TPI hit on left side,but not too bad

Thanks for the info. What kind of diferance will I notice after doing this? It kind of sucks right now. I have to push hard to stop the car and keep it stoped not to mention when your doing 100mph.

You will be amazed at the difference. But you should install the 1LE rear discs also. That way you will have 12" rotors on all 4 wheels.
