After reading all of the posts, I would like to upgrade my brakes, but I have a few questions.
Do I need to replace my master? I have an 85 IROC with 4 wheel disc. Also what proportioning valve do I need,if I have to change mine.Will the brake line fittings fit on the new valve?
Did the 1LE have different rear brakes then my car? If so does anyone have the GM part #s for all the rear brake parts that I would need?

Check out the 1LE posts elsewhere on this page.It will answer some of your questions. Your master cyl will be reused. The proportioning valve will change GM# 14089496.
All of your brake lines will fit.Only '82 to early '84 will have to mod the brake lines. Perhaps someone else can hook yuo up with the Bill Fong page. That covers the rear brake mod pretty good.
