No drop with eibach Sport-Lines?

I switched from Intrax 2" drop to eibach Sport-Lines (the ones that only drop about 1") and now the car sits just as high as it did when it was stock. Did other people with these springs notice a drop? The car handles better with these springs than it did with the intrax springs.. but i would like it about an inch lower... maybe cutting half a coil will lower it that much more?

How long ago did you put them in? Springs will take a while to settle, so give them time. The Sportlines are supposed to drop the car 1.5" if I remember correctly. I never took measurements, but it seems pretty close to how much lower my car sits now. Also, on the back springs it depends how much weight you have in the trunk. There is a visible difference in ride height on my car when I have a full tank of gas and the spare tire and my toolbox in the back.

The sportlines should drop it 2" in front and 1.5" in the rear. I measured mine before and after and the drop was as advertised. Check to see if the springs are seated in the upper and lower pockets correctly.

Not sure if this is the case with the Eibachs, but some springs have a right and left side, and if they're installed on the wrong sides, they won't lower it all the way...

I don't think the eibach's have a left and right side.. both springs look exactly the same. I forget if they are pro-kit or sportlines.. but they are the ones that lower less. Either way, these things handle better than my old Intrax springs, the eibach's are much stiffer, but now it actually feels like a sports car instead of being all over the place. I guess I'll give it a little more time to settle in.

The pro-kit is the one that drops 1"-1.5" all around. When I put mine in, it took a while before they settled and the drop became noticeable. I love the way they improved my ride over the original 18 year old springs.

Yeah.. the ride is better than the stock springs and way better than my old intrax springs.. it's just a lot higher than i am used to. Now it looks like a "regular car", I might cut half a coil off this summer to lower it a little more if it doesn't drop more.
