Anyone have before & after pics going from 245's to 255's

Almost time for new tires, I have 245/50/16's all around now, on 16x8 Formula rims. I'd like to put 255/50's out back. Just wondering what they'll look like. Anyone have any comparison pics? Thanx.

You won't be able to notice a difference. I planned on doing this with mine, but said the heck with it. It wasn't big enough difference to bother with it. If you get the Pep Boy Futura's they are wider than most of the other 245's out there. That is what I have on mine and when I pulled the old ones off you could see the difference. Both sets were 245's but the Futura's were a bit wider.

Actually I was going to get Bridgestones, I get a discount on 'em. I was leaning towards 255's because there isn't much price difference between the two sizes, and its the widest tire I can put on the car without stepping up to 17's. I just wanted to see what they'd look like. Anyone have pics? Please?

Actually you could go wider on an 8 inch rim, I've seen it done. I know a guy that had 295 50 16s on his iroc rims. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Those suckers were bulging off the rim bigtime. I can't tell ya how safe this is though.

I have 255's on the car now.
go to my site and look at the exterior pics.
The pics with the silver wheels are 245, the black ones have the 255 on the rear. (They are the same wheels, I jsut painted them back to black.)
