Can I use Corvette Brakes?
I've got a deal on Corvette Rotors and Calipers from an 89. Are these the same as the f-body 1LE brakes or are they different? Thanks.

Kevin, I do believe they are different. I recently ordered Baer's 12" Sport System. They informed me that if I did not want to order pads, calipers, or rotors from them, I could go to any parts store and ask for an 88-93 Corvette system. They molded their system to match the Corvette's.
Well, everything seems to be different from the stock camaro system. How the caliper bolts on. The front rotors do not have the studs pressed into them, but rather onto the spindles (like the stock rear camaro system). The front spindles/rotors came assembled, so I didnt have the chance to take them apart to inspect them closer.
But maybe it's an easy adaption? I don't know.

Kevin,Can you get a photo of the calipers? I'll find out today (possibly) what parts will interchange. I believe that the calipers are different, but can be made to work. The pads should be the same.
