Spohn connectors Q's
1) Can the Spohn connectors be seen on a car without ground fx's? From the pictures it looks like they might.
2) What has anybody done to rust proof the weld area's after welding theirs in? Did it work?
3) Will they ever get in my way while I'm working on, or replacing parts on my car?
4) How much do they weigh?
5) When they weld them in should the car be sitting on it's wheels and level? I read that somewhere on here.

1) They ride the pinch weld pretty good. They are maybe .7" below the pinch weld at the lowest point, and are less at other points.
2) I painted mine and then ground off the paint when I welded them to the car and then prepped and painted the welds. As far as rustproofing road grime will eventually protect them to some degree and I also live in CA.
3) I think they are around 32 lbs.
4) Yes put them on with the cars suspension loaded. I used ramps up front and jacks on the rear end. You want the car to be at its neutral riding position.
