Rack and Pinion steering?
I am sure it has been mentioned hear before, but I did not find any info on this yet. Could it be done to our cars? I have a Maxima with a Rack and love the feel. My IROC feels tight, but the steering is real heavy would like the feel of a rack.

The 'heavy' feel is the performance steering box. Plain third-gens have a box that requires little steering effort, just like the rack you are talking about. The increased effort box you have is preferred because it increases road 'feel'. A rack install would be alot of work(all the steering stuff would have to replaced and custom built) and 'disconnect' the driver from the road. It would lighted up the car, which would help in a drag car.
