raise rear end
I want to raise my rear end about 2 inches. Is it safe to use a part I saw, its a part that you put in between the springs and tighten a couple of bolts to raise or lower the car. Is it safe to do this so I can raise my rear end. Will it cause any problems?

I had those... they work great, but they move around. One goes on each side of the coil... drive for a while (or hit a few potholes!), and both will wind up on the same side of the coil. You'll then get a nasty "bang" out of the spring as it distorts over bumps.
I drove like that a year (and even lost a set on the road!) before installing air shocks. There's something you should worry about with air shocks though, I covered it in this message: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/001926.html
