wonder bar on a 91 RS
wonder bar on a 91 RS
can a "wonderbar" from an IROC bolt right onto a 91 RS,and will it help any?i do have t-tops so i want to stiffen the car up a bit,and i was just wondering how well it would work,if at all.and yes i am also going to get SBC's.

Yes it will just bolt right on. I have one on my 91 RS and I am starting to build them for others. http://nctga.bharris.org and look in the classifieds of that bar. We have been discussing the wonderbar and I have 2 prototypes out for testing now.

I just purchased one from gmpartsdirect.com a month ago (p/n 14079634) for $30.17 (total cost including shipping).
The difference was by no means dramatic, but I did notice some improvement. It's supposed to strengthen the steering box mounting area too.
It only takes removing four bolts and at $30 and ~15 minutes to install, it was well worth it to me.
