how wide are my rims?
Hey everyone,
I have a set of the 15" brushed aluminum 1978 Corvette Pace car rims on my camaro. I currently have the 215/60/R15 BFGs on there and want to move up to at least a 235 width tire. Does anyone know how wide these rims are and can suggest the widest i should go for tires. I am deciding between Cooper XSTs, Futura Zs or the Yokohama AVS intermediates. What you do think is the best choice for a limited budget? Thanks

Grab you a tape measure and measure the width. In 1978 a 15 x 7 would have been considered a wide tire although our cars today stock for the most part are 16 x 8.
If it is 15 x 7 a 235/60/15 will provide a wide tire and nice balance on this rim.
