Tight budget shocks

I would like to get Koni yellows all the way around but just can't afford it. Is there anything wrong with going with Koni's on the back and maybe KYB AGX's on the front? I just got C6 'Vette wheels and would really like to get better hook in the rear.

Re: Tight budget shocks

You could consider the Koni yellows for the front & either wait until your budget allows until you change the rear shocks, or put a cheap set on the rear for the time being. Koni reds will also suffice on the rear for a little less cash.

I agree with Lonnie. If you are going to skimp on shocks, skimp in the rear, not the front. I do not recommend skimoping at all, but if you do then remeber the front of the car is heaviestr and most important to control weight transfer under braking and cornering.
