Go to www.kalecoauto.com and buy the budget lowering kit, it works wonders. It doesn't work with some tires, though.

You could be cheap and cut your springs for free, but that would be RICE.

What is it with some of you guys and calling everyone rice? that has got to be the stupidest thing i have ever heard on this site. My friend and i just lowered his 91 convertable about 2 inches by cutting 1.25 coils off the front and 1.5 coils off the back. I don't see how that is "rice."

ok...cutting coils is ..ghetto!..it usually spoils the integrity of the winding because of the heat. why not just buy some aftermarket springs. I have the eibach pro-kit which will lower my car 1.5" that's enough for me. I paid a bit too much for them too,$250,you could find some for $200 if you shop around.

drop spindals from bell-tech...but come on now!.......

sure, cutting springs is pretty half *** , i was just annoyed at seeing another poster calling something "rice." we figured, if it didn't look good, or ride right, he would buy proper lowering springs.
