Does anyone know if Goodyear still makes the original Gatorbacks that were on my 89 GTA? I can't seem to find them. I tried tirerack.com and they did not have them listed. Anyone know where I could find them?

 

Look for gsc's. Those are gatorbacks.

 

You obviously weren't driving one of these cars, or a Vette, in 1989. There's a good reason you can't find them any more... people quit buying them because they were overpriced and they sucked. Thye had poor traction especially when wet, harsh ride, pathetic tread life; and they had some down sides too. The GS-Cs aren't any better. Get something decent like Michelins, you'll be alot happier.

I have a car with 20K miles which have the original tires from 89. There is plenty of tread left on them but tires should be replaced if they are over 10 years old. I'm not looking to go run a race. I just want to keep everything original.
