looking to rebuild. check it out please
ok i am looking to rebuild my whole suspension.
i want to lower my car 2" with spindles, and i want to replace all the suspension parts at this time so i only get one alignment,
i am looking to install all of this, or is this way over the normal garage mechanics head.
1. what company sells the whole kit? if any?
2. if not what do i all need?
3. how hard to install and do i need any specail tools?
thanks so much everyone.

I'm gonna do the same rebuild without lowering, so I hope I can help out a bit. I've been getting my parts list together:
Summit and Jeg's both carry Energy Suspension bushings (www.energysuspension.com) and Moog parts, so check prices with them. You can get all of the stuff at once that way. I plan on using the Moog chassis parts and all E.S. bushings. I totalled about $200 for everything I need give or take a few bucks;
OR
PST (www.p-s-t.com; free catalog!!) carries a polygraphite rebuild kit with all the bushings, ball joints, tie rods and end links for @ $160. Rear bushings will come in another kit or you can piece together your own stuff.
Energy also sells a complete front and rear bushing kit, but you still have to piece together a few things.
You will need: front lower control arm bushings, tie rods (inner/outer), center link (optional), ball joints, ball joint and tie rod boots, sway bar bushings (front and rear), end link kits (front, rear; for sway bars), rear control arm and panhard rod bushings, spring isolators (optional), tie rod adjustment sleeves (optional).
The only "special tool" I would get or rent would be a spring compressor for the front coils. The rears will practically fall right out when you jack up the rear end and lower the axle. Other than that, just wrenches, sockets, pickle forks, and a torque wrench. You need to get the ball joints pressed in by a machine shop and you should be all set. If you can do simple disassemble/reassemble tasks you should be OK. Follow a shop manual or a Chiltons/Haynes.
I think that's about it, at least that's all I can remember off the top of my head. Any help from someone who has done it already is appreciated..
