Baer Brakes

In the future I plan to put a Baer Four Wheel Disc brake setup on my 91 Camaro RS. The stock rear end is drum brakes. I planned on getting a new rearend(or rebuilt) any way so should I get one already with discs or can I convert it.

I also plan to do the same only I have a 91' Firebird and will be going with Baer Alcon calipers. I am considering a fourth gen rear swap but do not want 275s to stick out of the fenders, but finding a fourth gen rear and going from there would probably be the easiest and one of the cheaper routes. I believe the spindles in the front need to be changed also.

You can convert using Baer's kit.

Do you mean the PBR calipers or the 4 and 6 piston Alcon calipers? I have not seen a kit that converts the rear drums to discs and upgrades the front. Where do I look??

Unless you have real deep pockets, find a rear axle assy from a 1989 or later f-body
with 11.655 rotors amd PBR Alum calipers.
I have made that swap with a 1989 b-w 9 bolt.
Works great.

Money is not an issue. I will be going with a brand new aftermarket rear or a brand new fourth gen rear. Which one would the Alcon setup fit on the best? Moser 12 Bolt? 9"?
