87 to 88 steering different?
87 to 88 steering different?
Alright, I had a 87 Formula WS6 and the steering was super quick and easy, loved it for auto-x...Now I have a 88 GTA WS6 and the steering and its not quick or easy, it sucks for quick turns. Now this is what I am getting at. Is this normal, are they that different or is there something wrong with my GTA? I loved the Formulas handling and was really hoping for the same out of this GTA.

My guess is that an 87 Formula and an 88 GTA use the same box, as well as other suspension components.
There's something wrong with the GTA for it to be that noticable. Sway bar end links are a common failure.

The steering components of the 87 may have been less worn than the 88.
