Edelbrock Torque Arm

What do you guys think about the Edelbrock torque arm? Do you notice a big improvement over stock in traction? Any other brands you guys like/dislike? Thanks.

This has been discussed a lot. Here is a really useful discussion.

I'd suggest doing a search after that if you want to know more.

I did a search for "Edelbrock torque arm". The reason that thread did not come up is because it does not mention the Edelbrock torque arm. It discusses torque arm theory and uses. I am trying to find out if the Edelbrock torque arm is a quality piece of engineering.

If you want a quality piece of engineering get the one made by SPOHN, all his stuff is very well made.

The Edelbrock mounts to the transmission and it's not adjustable. Over priced piece that won't do very much IMHO.

There are much better units for less money.

The Edelbrock torque arm is $160. That should probably tell me something right there but that is the least expensive TA I have ever seen.
