My panhard rod and control arms are poly/spherical combos. They were recommended to me by everyone I asked. There is an increase in road noise, but so what? I would guess though that if you've got a street car to get poly ends, since the spherical would be a little overkill.

Poly for the street, rod ends for racing.
Some mfrs. claim poly bushings bind; I haven't noticed any such thing on my car; I have the Spohn TA and Lakewood LCAs, all poly.

On my '91 T/A, I started off putting in GW dual spherical bearing lower control arms, panhard bar, and Spohn's spherical torque arm, along with GW springs (originally Hotchkis), KB SFCs and lower chassis brace, PST bushings all around, Bilstein shocks/struts, Hotchkis STB.
I found the spherical to be a bit too much, so I went with Spohn spherical/poly control arms and panhard bar. I definitely prefer the feel of this combo overall. The sphericals over-react on large bumps. Also, feel is better, you can tell when you're about to break free in the rear with poly/sper combo, sphericals like stock is a very fine line.
My suggestion is that spher for the torque arm is overkill, its very noisy, bearing needs to be replaced every year, and if you hit a bump, you'll want more give when you hear a boom from underneath the car.
