LCA's, LCA relocation, or torque arm??

While I'd like to install an after market torque arm, lower control arms, lca relocation brackets, panhard rod and a number of other suspension mods on my '87 IROC, I'm not sure my budget is going to support all of these right now and they can be always added easily later. My car had very little traction before, but during my restoration I've (hopefully) increased HP even more. Before my car would smoke the 305/40-16 M&H Racemaster DOT tires thru 1st and 2nd, then they would bounce and hit the wheel wells when the 700R4 shifted into 3rd.

Which 2 mods would help traction the most. I was thinking torque arm and LCA relocation, or torque arm and LCA's (the car is at stock height). I already have CE LCA's but they are of the rod end variety and transmit a trendous amount of noise, too much for street use. Besides, I haven't been able to locate one of them yet in the mess I call my garage. Oh, and I already have CE SFC's.

I am considering:

MAC torque arm ($150)
MAC Panhard rod ($59)
MAC Strut tower brace ($99)
BMR bolt-on LCA relocation brackets ($109)
GMS LCA's ($99)

Any comments on the above products?

thx

I went from Stock LCA's and Panhard bar to Hotchkis LCA's and panhard bar and no differance.

Get the lower control arms no matter what. Check to see if the LCA's are parralel to the ground. If they are higher in back than front, usually because the car is lowered, then get the relocation brackets, otherwise you do not need them. The toque arm will help traction, but the ride will suffer and they are typically noisy.

Get a set of weld-on LCA reloc brackets, and better LCAs. Check Spohn (a site sponsor), I have some of his product, works quite well for me. LCAs by themselves will do very little, and all else you can do will be useless without the brackets.
