Just seeing what everyone has and if they like it or would prefer a different one. I'll be getting one soon.

Love the Spohn one..

I have the dual drive shaft loops, race version, and even had him coat it in blue for me (for a small additional fee of course)

Excellent quality and performance...

most thirdgenners don't have torque arms (aftermarket that is) check out on Ls1.com there's a good thread in the Autocross and Road Racing forum. I'm "cy Z28" over there too.

I have the Spohn street (poly) one, works great for me. I also have his LCA relocating brackets; for a street car, that is a HUGE bang for the buck, I'd recommaned you start with a set of those, and a set of better LCAs than stock. I have Lakewood poly ones, but Steve makes those too in a couple of variants.

I like the BMR one. http://www.bmrfabrication.com/

Just make sure your torque arm has diagonal cross-braces, as ones that are straight up and down (coughspohncough) will flex and break.

The BMR Trak Pak TA looks good w/out the subframes (already have Spohn's in). Although I'm not too sure about the mounting brace that goes all the way across the car. But, I do want a shorter than stock TA w/ adjustability. What would the advantage be for spending the extra $100 for the chrome-moly TA? What's the advantage of that mounting bar?
And here's my biggest question. Looking at the pics, there is 1 bolt that holds the TA to the mounting cross bar via that little bracket. So if you can lift the front tires (I can't yet but will be getting a lot closer to doing it) that 1 bolt is enough to lift the front end w/out breaking and sending the TA through the top of the tunnel???

Yeah its MORE than enough. Look at ladderbar cars, same idea as a torque arm (when you get down to the basics) and they are running 6 second passes in 3000# cars.

You can only USE 1 bolt anyway, if you had 2 bolts then the torque arm would be solidly mounted to the frame- no roation, you'd basically have a solid suspension.

If you're THAT worried about it you can run an NHRA legal rod-end safety loop.
