Easiest way to remove rear springs?

Can anybody give me some tips? Where's the best place for the jack stands?

unbolt the shocks and panhard rod maybe drive shaft. i'd put set of jack stands on the SfCs if you have them or somewhere forward of the LCAs and another set on the rear. after everything is unbolted remove the jackstands from the rear and use a floor jack to lower the rear, the springs will fall out. it's very easy job to do.

I just changed mine, didn't need to remove driveshaft or panhard. I supported the car with jackstands just in front of the LCAs, removed tires, supported the rear with the floor jack, unbolted shocks, slowly lowered rear until springs were loose enough to pull out watching that I didn't put any tension on the brake lines. Yes, it is easy.

All I did was put the rear on jackstands, unbolt the shocks and lower the rear with a jack. I didn't unbolt the rims.

Yeah, you don't have to remove tires, it gives you access without crawling under the car and I replaced my shocks at the same time so felt it made it easier. To each his own! Also, don't forget to block the front tires before you jack up the rear!

Also taping the spring rubbers to the top of the springs with electrical tape helps keep them in place while installing. Be careful not to jack the car up too high. I snapped my Russel ss braided brake line once by accident. Dropped the rear too fast and too far.

Heres what I do. I lift up the car and put jack stands. (well I atcually use a lift. But I dont know if you have a lift) and that allows the rear end to drop down somewhat. Then I just use all my strength. ANd I push up the spring and pull it out. Easy as that. I can change my back springs in like 5 minutes or so
